甘益光簡介

甘益光(Benjamin Gan)，台灣小說家、導演和詩人，畢業於東吳大學英文系。 曾於報章雜誌及網路發表過上百篇小說、極短篇、詩和散文等作品。其小說具有超現實及荒謬主義的色彩，曾以小說《終站》、《鴨嘴獸的故事》兩度獲得雙溪現代文學獎。

他導演的電影在畫外音、在平行多重敘事間的跳躍諷刺，對於影像與敘事結構的自覺與解構，隱約透露著一絲絲的感傷和無奈，有時卻瀰漫著令人窒息的弔詭氣氛。他的電影作品一向集製片、導演、編劇、攝影、剪輯、演員於一身。甘益光的成名作《湖的秘密》，遊走於小說與影像，且虛構口白交織寫實風景，彷彿是墜入了一場未知的奇異夢境，曾在2015年的南方影展入圍南方首獎、及最佳實驗片獎，之後並於達達沙赫布·帕爾凱影展（Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival）榮獲最佳影片獎。甘益光執導的劇情長片《時鐘記》試著探討鄉愁、時光、失落、出走和尋找，並巧妙對比、反諷虛與實。不同的段落由不同的手法和風格呈現，如象徵、隱喻、寓言和超現實等。《時鐘記》於2017年在歐洲十二個月影展(12 Months Film Festival)得到了最佳劇情片獎。由他編劇導演，並在片中一人分飾兩角的《L先生》，於2018年諾伊達國際影展(Noida International Film Festival)，榮獲影展特別表揚獎，《L先生》的雙重「自我」或人格分裂或自我省思、自我質疑或真誠虛假集於一身，有寄情或寓意或憶舊，其文學性與異國情調跟法國導演雷奈、義大利導演費里尼遙相呼應，既是超級影痴電影，又讓非影痴可以當成極富創意的實驗電影自由馳騁 。

Benjamin Gan

Benjamin "Jamin" Gan is a Taiwanese novelist, poet, and director. As a writer, Jamin has published lots of short stories and poems. His works can be described as surrealistic and absurdist. He has won two literary awards for fiction. Jamin is also a movie director. His movie "Secrets of the Lakes" was nominated for South Taiwan Film Festival, South Competition Award, Experimental Film, and also was a Best Screenwriter Award winner in the 12 Months Film Festival. In Delhi Shorts International Film Festival: "Secrets of the Lakes", won Short Film of Excellence Award. It was also nominated for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Short Film and Best Production Award. His next movie, "Your Clock" has won the Best Feature Fiction Award in the 12 Months Film Festival. His "Mr. L" won Festival Special Mention Award in Noida International Film Festival.
